Hero swanks Erik Buell Racing bikes 1190RS,1190RX – Auto Expo 2014

Hero Motocorp had quite a few interesting models being showcased on their stands at Auto Expo 2014. This includes their three new scooters- Dash, Dare, and Zir, Splendor iSmart, 100cc Passion Pro TR, the highly unforeseen Hero Splendor Pro Classic 100cc Cafe Racer, and the stunning street fighter- 620cc Hero Hastur. As you can see, Hero’s mix went from anticipated, to bizarre, and ended up at truly amazing. The Indian manufacturer also had a couple of more products on display, not completely its own, though. Hero also unveiled bikes of its technology partner Erik Buell Racing. We know that Hero and EBR have been combining on a few projects, including the latest installment in the Karizma line of bikes. So here’s what the performance bike maker had on show at the Auto Expo.

EBR 1190 RX Yellow

EBR brought down the 1190RS and RX. The 1190RX holds a 1190cc V twin which is liquid cooled. The powerplant has a peak power capability of 185bhp and a torque of 137.8Nm. Transmission on the bike consists of a six-speed gearbox. At a kerb weight of 190 kilos, the bike should make for a nimble ride.
