1 Crore DC Tata Nano Car at Auto Expo 2010 Pragati Maidan
The People’s Car is ready for a Grand makeover by India’s Top Designer Dilip Chabria.
Tata Motors will reveal a “1 Crore” DC Tata Nano in the upcoming Auto Expo 2010 at Delhi and that is exactly equivalent to the cost of 100 Tata Nanos put together.
Specifications of DC Tata Nano:
- Engine of the Car: 1600cc engine (rather than 623cc engine)
- Top Speed of DC Nano: 200 km/hour
- Gear Box Type: 7-speed triptronic gear box.
Gull-wing doors of the car will raise their arms towards the sky just like a Ferrari. In addition to this, this “2-Seater” car will be equipped with biometric door handles which have been kept exclusively for the car owner’s entry.
The size of the alloys has bee raised to 15” from 12″ which will make it the “Smallest Sports Car” in the world.
Interiors of DC Tata Nano:
Dilip Chhabria has also included some high end gadgets in this “Premium Car”.
Here are few of those:
- Customized instrument panel
- LCD screen
- Internet
Despite all these unique enhancements of this Tata Nano Car, it still retains the same size as its actual version.

Looks plain stupid.
Just 1 question DC, why do you even have rear doors for this car when it is just a 2-seater? If you can convert a Rolls Royce Phantom’s into 2 door so-called coupe, what wrong did this cute lil nano do? You are anyways charging a bomb for this car for no reason.
