2010 Alfa Romeo Guilietta: Safety Car For SBK Superbike World Championship

We have seen the Mercedes-Benz SLS being called for safety-car duties in the Formula 1 track and likewise, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta will serve as the safety car for the SBK World Superbike Championship.

The range-topper, Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde powered by a turbocharged 1.75-litre 4-cylinder engine spewing out 235 bhp. This powers the car to 100 KPH in 6.8 seconds (far cry from those of the ones it heads) and tops out at 242 KPH.

Additions to the Safety Car version of the Giulietta QV include nothing more than a few monitors, radios and those special lights. Are you ready, boys?
