Mercedes Benz C220 CDI EE: New “Executive Edition” Model Launched

Mecedes Benz India has added a new member in their family – C220 CDI EE or the Executive Edition.

This car is a stripped down version of C-class and is the direct rival to the BMW’s 3-series Corporate Edition. The model is priced at Rs 27.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The car lacks sliding sunroof, bi-Xenon headlamps, electrically foldable mirrors, Parktronic (parking sensors) and CD changer – though has a single CD changer. The Executive Edition has burr-walnut wood trim instead of the eucalyptus wood trim in the Elegance, art leather seats in place of pure leather and the 16-inch alloy wheels are now seven-spoke.

The bad bad news is that it is only for fleet owners such as hotels and corporate companies unlike BMW which can be bought by individuals too.
