2012 Next-Gen Honda Civic Sedan Spied

With Toyotas, Chevys and Skodas eating away Honda’s market share rapidly, the company is in trouble and in need of new models to grab their market share again. Going ahead with their plans, the Japanese car maker has plans to launch a new gen Civic sedan in the year 2012. The car has been finally spotted testing and in the pictures, we see the American version of the Civic sedan.

The car will remain front-wheel drive for cost and packaging reasons, with a four-cylinder the most likely option. Customers will likely be able to choose from a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a manual transmission. It is too early to speculate anything about the car but going by the basic profile of the car, we can say that it will have more or less the same design as the current gen Civic sedan.
