As part of the year end discounts which almost all manufacturers announce during this time of the year, Mahindra & Mahindra has come up with attractive offers on their products as well. Celebrating 30 lakh vehicles sold, Mahindra is offering hefty discounts on the Xylo, Scorpio and the Verito mid-sized sedan. Among the three, customers are being offered up to Rs 60,000 off on the Xylo MPV.
Meanwhile, customers of the popular Scorpio SUV can avail discounts of up to Rs 40,000. The Verito, on the other hand can be bought for up to Rs 35,000 less over its current list price. Now, the base model of the Scorpio is available at a price of just around Rs 7 lakh and so is the Xylo (ex-showroom Pune). That said, the Verito 1.4 G2 costs close to Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). The special discount offer will be on till December 25th so if you are planning to buy one of these Mahindra products, you better hurry.
To conclude, Mahindra & Mahindra sold over 17,000 vehicles in the month of November. The Mahindra Bolero remains the best seller for the car maker even as December of 2011 has dawned up on us. The Scorpio is the second best seller clocking 4646 units last month. Mahindra sold 1127 units of the Verito. Earlier in the year, Renault-Nissan sold the rights of the then Mahindra-Renault Logan to the Indian company.
This year, Mahindra launched the XUV500 which has been received well by one and all. The flamboyantly styled SUV and the killer pricing has resulted in decent sales numbers in the month of November. Mahindra sold 1637 units of the XUV500 which is almost 400 units more than the previous months tally. Finally, the Xylo clocked similar numbers as the XUV500. However, compared to October, sales of the Xylo dropped fractionally.
