Audi India Records Highest Ever Sales In 2010 1st Quarter

Audi India recorded its best ever sales figure since its entry into the Indian market. The company recorded an increase of 35.80 per cent for the month of March by selling 220 units as against 162 units last year.

The sales saw an increase of 200 per cent for the first- quarter of 2010 at 778 units as compared to 384 units in 2009. Hinting of its plans for the year ahead, Audi India Managing Director Benoit Tiers said, “This year, our customers can expect new avant—garde and sporty luxury models”.

“Early 2010 will witness opening of new showrooms in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai (West), Jaipur, Chennai, Ludhiana” , he added .
