The Stig in BBC Top Gear Show
“Some say he is Michael Schumacher, some say he has paid $420 million to brutally murder Rubens Barrichello; you know he’s called the………Ben Collins.” The character “The Stig” on the famous automotive show, called BBC top gear, has revealed himself that it was him, “Ben Collins” who did the job in BBC Top Gear for more than 6 years. But as soon as after dumping him, BBC has acquired another The Stig which was seen doing the same job in BBC studio, where as Ben Collins was video taped at the same time 1100 miles away, staying with his children.
Ben Collins is a Formula 3 driver and was a stunt double for James Bond in the movie Quantum of Solace where he “played” Daniel Craig inside a Aston Martin DB9.
There had been lot of rumors that “The Stig” is Michael Schumacher & even Ben admitted that. The truth revealed as the publisher firm called HarperCollins, which was making Ben’s autobiography, had denied when BBC officials were persuading them not to publish Ben’s book, where he reveals all about Stig and behind the screen of BBC Top Gear, with him involved. BBC’s intention was not to publish the harmless secret and had Collin signed for that back in 2003. Also, the newspaper, British Sunday Times, claims that Ben Collins is The Stig based on Ben’s company’s financial records. A financial report noted the company recorded a “cornerstone year” based on “driving services provided for the BBC, mainly in the Top Gear programme”. The document recorded it offered “good long-term prospects for continuing income”.
