BMW halts production of the M6

BMW has stopped producing the M6 coupe ahead of the launch of a new model. BMW is expected to unveil its next-generation 6-Series at the Paris motor show in September.

The M5 and the M6 both shared the same incredible 5.0lt V10 which will also cease to exist in any M-power car. The new cars will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 rather than the V10 screamer. However, BMW will first roll-out the 6-Series coupe and convertible before letting the wizards at its M-Division to work their magic on it.
