Here is a piece of consumer advice from IndianCarsBikes for those of you who are in the market for a premium saloon priced around Rs 46 lakh ex-showroom. In fact, if you are planning to buy the BMW 530d any time soon, we advise you to wait as BMW is soon to upgrade the top-of-the-line 530d bimmer.

The new upgrade includes a heads-up-display (HUD) and GPS navigation system. A HUD projects the speed, fuel levels and other essential details on the windshield just below the line-of-sight of the driver. This means the driver does not have to look down at the instruments every single time. The navigation system on the other hand has been provided by MapMyIndia which is one of the leading sat-nav systems available in India.

The BMW 530d has the most powerful diesel engine BMW provide in the 5-Series sedan. It has an in-line six-cylinder engine which churns out a healthy 540 Nm of torque and 245 bhp of max power. It also comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle-shifts. Apart from the new additional toys, the 530d also gets a rear seat entertainment package with 8-inch tiltable screens.
