Car Prices in India 2010: Heading Northward

When we are already burdened by the hike in fuel prices, the car makers have already announced price hikes for their models due to the 2% increase in excise duty.

Here is an overview of how much the car makers have increased their car prices to burn the new buyer’s pocket.

Maruti Suzuki – Rs. 3000 – Rs.13000
Hyundai Rs.6,500 – Rs.25000
Honda Siel Car – R.13,000 – Rs.41000
Toyota Corolla altis Rs.18,900 – Rs. 30,500
Fiat Punto & Linea Rs.7000 – Rs.15500
