As part of EJAF White Tie & Tiara Ball to be held at Sir Elton John’s residence, an chromed out Audi R8 v10 Spyder will be auctioned off in a bid to raise money for the Elton John Aids Foundation. The car is hoped to fetch a reasonable sum that would be utilized for a noble cause. It is a unique piece of machine, given that its an Audi R8 and secondly it is quite an eye-catcher.

The all chrome Audi R8 V10 Spyder has fabric roof which can be folded away to let the glorious V10 bellow reach your ears unobstructed. The 5.2 litre V10 of uber cool Audi pumps out 525 horspower and 391 lb-ft of torque. The humongous engine bolted in the middle catapults the shiny sports car from 0-100 kph in 4.2 sec and on to a top whack of 194 miles per hour. This particular R8 V10 that will be auctioned off has a six-speed manual transmission.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) was established in 1993, and is amongst the 10 largest AIDS grant-making organizations in the world, currently managing over £14 million in programs across 15 countries supporting thousands of men, women and children with life-saving medication, as well as information, nutrition, education, shelter and support.  The White Tie & Tiara Ball, now in its 13th year, is the EJAF’s foremost fundraising event, and has been supported by Audi with special auction lots for the past eight years.
