Ford Figo waiting period to shorten as Ford India’s Chennai factory will operate in two shifts

This is a happy problem every manufacturer worth it’s salt likes to have, that of people jostling to buy it’s products, and that of it’s factory working flat out to satiate the huge demand.

When Ford India pulled the wraps of it’s Figo Hatchback and priced it so brilliantly, we were pretty sure that the Figo would top sales charts in no time.

Topping it sure is, and the 15,000 bookings for the Ford Figo is a prime indicator. Now, Ford India seems to be run by bright blokes who believe in not making customers wait for months together for their cars.

Hence, Ford’s Maraimalainagar plant at Chennai will now operate in two shifts, beginning from June 2010, to meet the high demand for the Figo hatchback.

So, say goodbye to ultra long waiting periods for your Ford Figo.

    Dear

    I had booked Figo in March but still waiting, almost 2 months…. & still not sure about the exact time of delivery. Don’t you think its poor management.People at chd are cancelling their booking, @ 3-4 vehicles are being cancelled every day against 2 new booking.If they will not improve the current situation they will lose their customers as other cars like Polo, Punto, ritz, swift are equally good ones easily available in market .

    My foolishness ended up with booking a Ford figo with Metro ford St.Marks road. I have booked it in mid of April 10 and still waiting. I know some people who have got the car in 10 days time. They are fooling other innocent customers collecting the entire money without interest.

    Ill Purchase a figo on 17th may after purchase a car I heard that figo suspension had a problem of allingment just like when tata indica launch first time,person says that figo allingment has out within 5000/7000 km.So i want to know this is right or wrong please tell me ill waiting your reply i am very afraid about that.

    i have purchased a FORD FIGO IN THE MONTH OF MARCH BUT FROM THE SECOND DAY ONWARDS I OBSERVED THAT MY CAR IS TOUCHING THE SMALL SPEED BRAKERS PLEASE LET ME KNOW THAT WETHER THIS IS PROBLEM WITH MY CAR OR THIS IS TRUE WITH EVERY CAR ,AND WHAT CAN BE DON TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM
