Honda to launch ‘Brio’ small car in 2011

Honda first showcased its small car concept at the Auto Expo this year, thus making it quite clear of its intentions of a new small car for the Indian market. The small concept could be named ‘Brio’ and is expected to arrive in India somewhere next year.

The car will have a fuel efficient and refined engine of a much smaller size. This engine will be mated to a manual gearbox. Styling will be futuristic as seen on most of the Hondas and a sedan based on the Brio will also see the light of the day.

The car will be first seen in Thailand in March 2011 and will be priced at around INR. 5 lakh.
