Honda Mobilio Facelift Teased Ahead of Launch in Indonesia

Japanese automotive major, Honda is going to bring up a refreshed version of its Honda Mobilio MPV and the vehicle is ready to be launched in the Indonesian market.

The company has released a teaser video of the Mobilio, just before its launch, which is slated to take place on January 13 in Indonesia.

The teaser reveals a few essential updates on the MPV, which include a changes to the lighting elements on the car. The Mobilio facelift will get a new pair of headlamps, which will now sport integrated LED DRLs. There is also a change to the grille of the vehicle, which now seems to have gained a bit more width and is finished with a central chrome embellishment.

The updated avatar of the Honda Mobilio will also get a re-designed front bumper, with differently styled housings for the fog lamps and the air dams. The teaser also goes on to show minor changes towards the rear of the MPV, which could include a new rear bumper, along with some design tweaks being brought into the tail lamp cluster.

On the inside, the refreshed model is expected to see a few tweaks, which could be in the form of seat fabric or something from the color palette. The Mobilio was already updated with the refreshed dashboard, which now does duty in the updated Brio and the Amaze compact sedan. However, the Indian Mobilio was never brought out with these changes, given its dismal sales response in the Indian market.

The Mobilio facelift is expected to continue with the same engine line-up, which also currently powers the MPV. Whether India will get this update is yet to be seen as the poor performance of the model in the market is a serious point of thought before putting in any more investment in updating the model.
