James Bond switches to Bentley from Aston Martin in new flick, Carte Blanche

The recipe for James Bond movies from the past have been easy, find the most charismatic, handsome looking bloke around hand him the keys of the latest Aston Martin and shoot a two hour orgy of action, style, romance and explosions. Only recently, and for the first time in history James Bond will be driving a Bentley in stead of the usual Aston in the latest 007 flick.

The latest novel, Carte Blanche written by Jeffery Deaver, features James Bond in a Bentley Continental GT. The upcoming Bond movie is set in Dubai where Deaver recently stopped by to promote the new book. Obviously, it won’t be an ordinary Continental that Agent 007 will drive around the Emirate. As always it will be kitted out with all the sci-fi gubbins a special agent could only dream of. If you talk about speed, well then the Bentley won’t be as responsive as the Aston Martin DBS which featured in Quantum of Solace. The 6.0 litre W12 behemoth should keep Mr. Bond happy though.
