Bull powered Mustang: Ford Mustang with Lamborghini Gallardo engine
You might have heard this before. In an attempt to realize a muscle car fans’ wet dream, a bunch of American auto-craftsmen have tacked together a 2007 Mustang powered by a Lamborghini Gallardo engine.
John Haugh of Cleveland, Ohio ripped open not only a brand new 2007 Mustang and, not stopping at that, went on to rip open the heart off a shiny baby Lambo to form the Tractorri. I’d much rather call it the ‘Mustardo‘.
This mid-engined car featured the 520 hp 5.0 litre V10 of the Gallardo and the Italian’s E-gear sequential automatic transmission transferring the power to the road through the all-wheel drive system. What went out was the Mustang’s original front mounted 281 hp V8 and it’s stone-age rear single-bar suspension.
The addition of the Gallardo’s and 4-wheel drive system translates to a muscle car which not just recognises that the earth is round but is a doctorate in the concept of corners. The car was featured in the 2007 SEMA auto show in the USA.
This then, is a car that would’ve put a peace symbol etched in blood over World War II.
