Mahindra & Mahindra hikes prices of its Vehicles after BS IV Emission Norms
India’s largest utility vehicle and tractor maker, M&M, has announced an increase in prices of its vehicles for the year 2010.
“The prices of all our vehicles are increased due to Bharat Stage-IV emission norms and slight effect of commodity price increase,” a Mahindra & Mahindra spokesperson said.
Mahindra’s flagship model Scorpio, sees a price rise between Rs 10,300 and Rs 17,500.
Company’s pride and winner of India’s No.1 SUV 4-times, Bolero prices have been raised by Rs 26,100.
Their latest MUV, Xylo‘s prices have been increased by Rs 15,300-15,900.
From this month, 13 cities across the country has switched over to Bharat Stage IV emission norms. Following this, many car makers, including Hyundai, General Motors and Toyota, have increased the vehicle prices.
