MPV based on the Maruti Suzuki SX4 to be previewed at the 2010 Auto Expo
Maruti Suzuki SX4 MPV
While Toyota, Honda and a host of other car manufacturers are gunning for Maruti’s jugular in the small car segment, the Indian manufacturer is planning to increase it’s product portfolio on an iron footing. Just after we’ve heard about Maruti developing an indigenous replacement for the venerable Maruti 800.
Now, the latest buzz in Motown is that Maruti is also developing an MPV based on the SX4.
This concept too will be showcased at the upcoming 2010 Auto Expo. While we have no specifications about the engine and stuff, we assume that the MPV based on the SX4 will closely resemble the SX4 hatchback that is on sale in Japan. Watch this space.

Sx4 is a highly reliable car. I am using it for the past 1 year and whether it is monsoon or summer or winter, whichever climate, SX4 is tackling all the problems like excessive heat, water clogged roads, the ground clearance is good, so I drive the car when every other car corners! Also, Sx4 is Maruti product, so no worries for resale value too!!
