Maybach 57s Coupe: Xenatech’ed
Maybach 57s Coupe by Xenatech
How do we make a near-impractical hyper-expensive car? Well you take a Maybach, and a power metal saw and play hanky panky.
Mostly set to take on competition from the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe, the ensuing Maybach 57S, a two-door coupe version of one of the most expensive cars, the Maybach 57s. German engineering firm Xenatech (no not Transformers-talk for Xena, the warrior princess), with help from Daimler, has managed to make the Maybach more impractical by chopping off the roof, widening the track and moving the B and C pillars to make way for a pair of doors.
Powering this thing is a merc 6-litre twin turbo V12 spewing 612 bhp making the 57S move past the 100 KPH mark in around five seconds.
Costing just over £550,000, this two door vulgarity is clearly for the Paff Duddy’s and Kanye East’s. Unlike?
