New Tata Nano Plus Car Model 2011: Bookings open on the spot

Next Nano model

The next Nano to be launched in India will have a 60+ bhp 1000 cc engine rather than the current 623 cc engine, an integrated music system, improved interiors, ABS, alloy wheels and probably a 5 speed manual transmission. The company names it as the Tata Nano Plus. Tata has not yet come out with the complete specifications of the Nano Plus and has not yet given any specific date for launch. But it is certain that it will come in 2011 before the launch of Indian version of Nano Europa.

However, they have to make sure the new plant at Sanand will solve the earlier problem of delayed delivery faced by the company. The Tata Nano Plus is also expected to address safety problems encountered by the current Tata Nano as well as the catching of fire, which has been one of the main concern with the current 2010 Nano model.

Spot booking for Tata Nano Plus has already begun and is getting a good response. The Indian customers are happy to buy better quality for a little extra money.
