Scoop: New 6-Series from BMW

Don’t be fooled by the huge rims and low profile tyres, because this ain’t the M6. BMW, in all probability is unlikely to bring the M6 this time around. Instead, the 650i will take the place of the top-of-the-line 6-Series. Here are the first disguised pictures of the 6-Series. The basic shape of the car looks unchanged apart from the M6 style quad exhausts. In profile, the rear of the car looks heavy with its huge boot. The car features a newly worked front bumper and headlights with LED’s.

The new 6-Series design is reminiscent of the Concept Gran Coupe from the Beijing motor show. The next 6-Series will also come in a 5-door variant. BMW has plans for a standalone super sports car to rival the likes of Audi’s R8 and Porsche’s 911. The car will be based on the Vision ED concept from the Frankfurt motor show. The car will showcase all of BMW’s eco-tech and will feature the 4.4lt V8 from the next generation M5.
