The flagship BMW 5 Series has been spotted a couple of times in the past. This time, guys from Autoblog spotted the M5, winter testing. The M5 recipe has been simple, add a monstrous engine to a humble 4-door executive saloon car, connect it with a supercomputer that will control a highly sophisticated suspension and car dynamics and the result is a car that can drive you around town in utmost luxury and then, will happily agree to be thrashed around a race track.

What we know at the moment is, the next-gen M5 will have a 4.4 lite, twin-turbocharged V8 in place of the V10. Power though, is up from 507 bhp to 560 bhp and 530 lf-ft of torque. The M5 will make its debut at the Geneva motor show in March next year. Till then, eagle-eyed car aficionados of the world will keep filling us with spy-pics of the car.
