Tata Motors Planning New SUV Based On Aria Platform: Aria Exports to Start Soon

After the successful launch of the Tata Aria, Tata will produce an ‘SUV’ and a ‘pick up truck’ on Aria’s platform. Currently, Tata offers only the old but everlasting Safari as an SUV, which has mediocre sales these days. But this SUV, based on a world class contemporary chassis of the Aria, will surely make a special SUV just like the Safari.

Also Tata is planning to export the Aria soon. “We are looking to export the Aria to the SAARC countries and South Africa, followed by Europe. This product should perk up the image of our capabilities.” Mr S.G. Saksena, Head, UV Unit, Tata Motors, said.
