Up marketed Nano Luxury Model in India by 2012 !

Tata Motors is all set to launch a luxury version of the Nano by 2012. This car will have power steering, air bags, anti lock braking system. This means the same Tata Nano Europa will be launched in India, which will be a budget car in European markets. “Yes, there is a chance of Tata Motors launching the Nano Europa in the Indian market as well,” Tata Motors India operations MD, PM Telang, told.

Telang said the car will be advanced, and enhanced , to the existing model. He further added that the engine will also be more powerful, which means the same 3-cylinder MPFI engine from Europa is coming in the rear of an Indian Nano. We will crave on this car, because the car will have 5-speed transmission, that too “Automatic.” The interiors of the car will be redesigned as well as some of the exterior. The company has targeted that the petrol engine will be highly fuel efficient and will have low CO2 emission of less than 100 gm/km. The car will be stiffer and should have bigger wheels.
