Toyota Etios hatchback to be named Etios “Liva”

The Toyota Etios will be launched in Bangalore on December 1, 2010. The car will be available in Toyota showrooms across India from March next year. Prior to launch, Toyota has christened the Etios hatchback as Etios Liva.

Toyota will drop in a 1.2 litre, 70 bhp petrol engine in the Etios Liva and a much powerful version will soon follow. The company might also introduce a 1.4 litre turbocharged oil burner by 2012.
