Victoria Beckham to Design Range Rover Evoque’s Interiors

Brand Beckham, known globally for everything from football to fashion, is all set to enter the world of motoring. Former spice girl and David Beckham’s wife Victoria Beckham, who was chosen to reveal Range Rover’s new car Evoque at a ceremony in London has been appointed as the creative design executive of the car’s interiors.

Speaking on the occasion, Victoria said: “‘I am incredibly excited to be collaborating with Range Rover. I like to take on a challenge and I’m ready for it.”

Company’s latest addition, Range Rover Evoque, is based on their ‘LRX’ prototype and is set to be the world’s most environment friendly 4×4. It will be the lightest and the most fuel efficient in the Range Rover series. Evoque will be available in four-wheel and two-wheel versions and will make its official public debut at the Paris Motor Show at the end of September.

The sportier and smaller off-roader to be produced at the company’s Halewood plant on Merseyside will create 1,000 jobs and will be priced from £30,000 to around £45,000.
