2011 Volkswagen Passat: 1st Image Leaked !

The first official photo of the 2011 Volkswagen Passat leaks out. This car is going to make an appearance in the forthcoming Paris Motor Show, this October. The engines are not yet announced but 2.0 ltr inline-four turbocharged with 220 horsepower is surely to come, while a new 3.0 ltr V6 with 300 horsepower should be available as well. Usual diesel engines and a hybrid model also has been confirmed by VW.

After the sedan launches abroad, the estate variant will debut, along with a possible R36 model. Expect the full details to be revealed before this October.

Looks like VW are on the Polo band wagon design. This one just looks like a Polo+Vento+spruced up =Passat. I am sure Skoda, will also follow on the same footsteps and launch something familiar.

It is nice car. Passat has great features and attractive look.I remember hearing that the new Passat may not come to the US in favor of a US specific model and or just keeping with the CC only in the US and coming out with a CC-Wagon-Variant for the US.I hope this generation of Volks is replaced by something more interesting when the time comes.
