Volkswagen Vento ALLSTAR Edition to launch soon. Will offer many new features but same specs and mileage as regular model. Brochure images leaked
Volkswagen India, the Indian subsidiary of the German auto giant, will soon launch a new special edition of the Vento sedan. To launch as the Volkswagen Vento ALLSTAR, this new limited edition model will come just ahead of the fast approaching festive season. The new model should help VW India cash in on the increased sales of new cars during this auspicious period of the year. The new Vento ALLSTAR, similar to the Polo ALLSTAR, gets some new features to make the car better value for money. This new model will launch during the Volkswagen Volksfest this month. It is worth a mention here that the Vento ALLSTAR and Vento GT variants are being exported to Malaysia by Volkswagen India since April this year.
The new models are a part of the new strategy by Volkswagen India to improve its sales performance in India. Earlier this year, VW India scrapped its plans of a partnership with Tata Motors to work on a new AMP platform. This was done owing to low feasibility. Now, VW India plans to improve its presence in the market by launching a slew of new cars and new variants.
Volkswagen Vento ALLSTAR Prices
Rs 10.68 lakh
Rs 9.54 Lakh
Rs 10.79 Lakh
There are very good chances that the prices of the ALLSTAR edition will be Rs 30,000 higher than the regular Comfortline trims. This means that prices of the 1.2-litre and 1.6-petrol models will be Rs 10.68 lakh and Rs 9.54 lakh respectively. The 1.5-litre Diesel engine will cost roughly Rs 10.79 lakh. The best part about the new Vento ALLSTAR limited edition is that all the extra features come fitted directly from the factory. This will be the second new Vento variant to launch soon. The company also launched the Vento Highline Plus variant a few months ago. The Highline Plus variant came with features like LED headlamps, LED DRLs, rear-view camera, indicators integrated into the outside rear view mirrors, 3D effect taillamps, and stylish Zirkonia alloy wheels. All these features won’t be available with the ALLSTAR model.
Volkswagen Vento ALLSTAR Features
Speculations are rife that the Vento ALLSTAR special edition is based on the mid-level Comfortline trim. The new ALLSTAR package brings in a lot many new features in the form of-
Linas Alloy Wheels

Pentastripe Anthrazit Fabric Upholstery
Leather wrapper hand brake lever
ALLSTAR scuff plate

Blue Silk paint shade
Other than this the new 2017 Volkswagen Vento ALLSTAR edition will get all the features available on the Comfortline trim. While the Comfortline variant misses out on the touchscreen infotainment unit, VW India might offer it as an optional feature with the ALLSTAR.
Based on the Comfortline trim, the new ALLSTAR edition will go on sale in three engine variants- 1.2-litre Petrol, 1.6-litre Petrol, 1.5-litre Diesel. The 1.2-litre petrol engine outputs 103 Bhp and 175 Nm. The 1.6-litre petrol engine produces 103.5 Bhp and 153 Nm. Finally, the 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 105 bhp and 250 Nm. While the 1.5-litre diesel and 1.6-litre petrol come with only 5-speed manual transmissions, the 1.2-litre engine comes paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
