Volkswagen Vento ALLSTAR Edition launched. Prices start at Rs 9,35,865. Available only with 1.6-litre Petrol and 1.5-litre Diesel engine options. Offers many new features but same specs and mileage.
Volkswagen India, the Indian subsidiary of the German auto giant, has come up with a new special variant of the Vento upper-C segment sedan. Dubbed as the Volkswagen Vento ALLSTAR, this new limited edition model launches just ahead of the fast approaching festive season. The new model should help VW India cash in on the increased sales of new cars during this auspicious period of the year. The new Vento ALLSTAR, similar to the Polo ALLSTAR, gets some new features to make the car better value for money.
The new model is a part of the new strategy by Volkswagen India to improve its sales performance in India. Earlier this year, VW India scrapped its plans of a partnership with Tata Motors to work on a new AMP platform. This was done owing to low feasibility. Now, VW India plans to improve its presence in the market by launching a slew of new cars and new variants.
