2013 Fiat Linea sedan facelift spyshots surface!

Fiat India has just refreshed the Linea sedan and Grande Punto hatchback a month ago and the facelifted models are currently on sale at all Tata-Fiat dealerships in India. Over the next 12 months, Fiat will concentrate on establishing standalone fiat dealerships, which we believe is the only way Fiat can truly realize the sales potential of the Linea and Grande Punto, both very capable cars whose sales charts simply don’t reflect their real worth. Meanwhile, spy shots of the 2013 version of the Linea sedan have just surfaced. With Fiat India just launching the facelifted Linea, the new model might take a year or so to come to India.

Fiat may bring in Jeep and Chrysler cars to India!

Italian automaker Fiat now owns American car brand Chrysler and its assorted sub brands like Dodge and Jeep. Globally Fiat is a huge brand purveying labels like Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Maserati apart from its own brand of cars. In India though, the story is a lot different with Fiat being a fringe player of sorts, supplying more engines to a whole lot of Indian car makers than selling its cars. Now, there’s a new report emerging that Fiat will want to expand its footprint in India by bringing some of its better known brands to the country.

The brand builder Fiat Caffe is up and running at Janpath, New Delhi!

Italian car brand Fiat is optimistic about its Indian prospects even though the sales figures indicate otherwise. In its second coming to India, Fiat’s alliance with Tata Motors to use the latter’s dealerships to sell its cars has come a cropper, resulting in Fiat all set to embark upon standalone Fiat dealerships across India. To supplement this move and rebuild the Fiat brand in India, the firm has come up with a novel concept of setting up Fiat branded cafes which will showcase Fiat products and also sell Fiat merchandise apart from being a place for Fiat fans to gather and socialize.
