Maruti Suzuki R3 Concept Car: 2010 Auto Expo

Maruti, sure made more than a few waves at the 2010 India Auto Expo with a glittering display. However, The concept that glittered the most at the Maruti pavilion was the RIII MPV concept. Conceptualized, designed and executed completely in house by Maruti engineers, the indigenous RIII reeked of innovation and fresh thinking.

What impressed us the most was the intelligent space utilization by which the RIII can easily seat all of 6 adults while retaining it’s compact dimensions. Also, the radical styling by Maruti’s engineers not too well known for their strengths in the styling department caught us by surprise.

While Maruti has remained tight lipped about the engine options the six seater RIII MPV will come with, we expect predominantly petrol powerplants supplanted by an electric/hybrid option. Too radical for launch without watering down, Maruti will pare down the RIII just that little bit before it’s 2011 Indian debut. Read more

Maruti Suzuki Cars in Auto Expo Delhi 2010: Joys Of Life

India’s biggest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki is all set to showcase its new line of vehicles in the upcoming Auto Expo 2010 at New Delhi.

“Joys Of Life” Theme:

The company has come up with a theme – ‘Joys of Life’ based on its parent company theme – Ways of Life for its pavilion in the 2010 Auto Expo. Maruti Suzuki is planning to showcase 17 new products in the January event.
