Toyota Avanza MPV not coming to India; No plans of a Sub Etios small cars

Earlier in the day, we carried a story about the 2012 Camry being primed up for a August launch. Our friends at IndianAutosBlog have also managed to pry out two other interesting bits from Toyota Kirloskar India’s deputy managing director of marketing, Mr Sandeep Singh. The first bit is about an MPV, the Avanza to be specific. Toyota has declared that it has no plans of launching the Avanza MPV in the Indian market. Notably, the Avanza is a five to seven seater MPV, that sits below the Innova in terms of positioning in the South East Asian markets.
