Shocker Story of the Day: Ghastly Russian Bill Board that says “Don’t Drink and Drive”
A while ago, Russia went easy on folks downing a tipple and getting behind the wheel by bumping the blood alchohol limit from 0.00 to 0.05. That five percent made all the difference with a large number of Russian motorists succumbing in accidents caused by drunken driving.
So, the Russian authorities decided to drive home the point of why a drink and a drive never go hand in hand. For this, they built a bill board that literally says, in Russian, “Your body could have been here” and slammed a dummy human body, replete with dripping blood, through the billboard.
The dummy even wears a Santa hat and holds a steering wheel. Ever since, Russia has moved back to it’s zero tolerance policy for drunken driving and now the BAC limit of 0.00 stays on, which in other words simply means, “Don’t Drink and Drive”.
