Recycled Art: Don’t Drink and Drive Sculpture

Russian Don't Drink and Drive Bottle Sculpture

Russian Don't Drink and Drive Bottle Sculpture

In India, totaled vehicles lining the sides of the highways are stark reminders of the perils of the road. The Russians however, seem to have one step ahead to line up totaled vehicles into a very unique sculpture that is primarily aimed at dissuading folks from driving after a tipple or two.

So, we have a huge steel bottle shaped structure whose insides contain the gory remainders of what were once, perfect examples of road worthy automobiles. This unique 8 ton structure has been built by Russian consulting agency Zavod along with the Russian Union of Auto Insurers and is placed on the Minsk highway in Odintsovo, Russia.

That’s one very creative way of warning drivers of what could happen with a drunk driver behind the wheel. We like it and yes, please, please Don’t Drink and Drive.
