Royal Enfield, the global leader in mid-size motorcycle segment, has hosted the flag off event of first-ever Girls Rides tour created by Vintage Rides, the specialist for character-packed motorcycle tours in Asia. The flag off event of 10 days all girls ride to Rajasthan has held on Royal Enfield’s exclusive gear store in Khan Market, Delhi on 10th February 2018. Commencing the ride from Udaipur, the riders will pass through Ghanerao, Jodhpur, Setrawa, Khimsar, Jaipur & Alwar. Twelve brave French women riders are utilizing the Royal Enfield motorcycles and gear collection. The idea behind initiating this ride is to bring together the motorcycling passion of avid woman riders from all over the world.
The ride comprises of age barriers, with the youngest rider being 25 years of age and the eldest of age 63, these women with a binding force of the passion for riding have come together to be a part of the motorcycle ramble. For the first time ever, Royal Enfield is taking mother-daughter for the ride. The ride is led by an Indian originated French woman Kali who was born in a village in South India.
Exploring the routes of Rajasthan, these women riders will be halting at Sambhali, an NGO based in Setrawa, a village near Jodhpur, which promotes woman empowerment and the education of children in the region. The Sambhali ladies will wait for their ‘Sister from The West’ to come together to unfold their motorcycling experience. The Vintage Rides have also proposed to support the NGO by donating the portion of their earning from this ride. The journey of riders is being captured in a movie directed by a French director and will be telecasted and uploaded on a French channel and their social media pages. The first time ever girls ride by Vintage Rides will be concluded on 20th, February 2018 in Delhi.
