Its a tough time for Volvo indeed. But I guess they would have tested few S60s before going for this big one. Bad luck I can say. Volvo so far has stood up to the safety measures and features they are world famous for. This though being a glitch in it….and that too a big one….well we can say that its better they got it blown in a demonstration mode. As becoz if this was cleared and the problem would have appeared in a rolled out vehicle,then company would have to face a massive callback and would have joined they league of the rest auto giants. So I would say its better for Volvo to face it now than at the customers level.
People still feel much safe in a Volvo.
