AVX Flying car Concept: A SUV that can take off and land vertically!!

Ever wondered to just fly off while waiting in the long queues of a traffic jam? If yes, then your dream could become a reality soon. All thanks to a bunch of boffins from the AVX Aircraft Company. AVX TX, a concept car that can be manually driven on the ground like an SUV and also boasts Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) capability.

Although the concept is being developed for the U.S. army, but so many things that we use in our daily life comes from military. Modern computers, the Internet, GPS devices to name a few.

According to the company, car will have intuitive controls that will provide non-pilot operator control and navigation systems that will facilitate its transition from road to flight operations. The vehicle’s dual ducted fans will provide propulsion both on the ground and in the air.
