The Chevrolet Captiva LTZ has been doing decent numbers for General Motors India, mainly because of the terrific value-for-money soft roader it has been. For quite some time now, there has been talk about General Motors developing a facelifted Captiva LTZ. Finally, new pictures of the Captiva are out in the open and going by those, the new Captiva seems to be a radical departure on the looks front. The 2011 Captiva LTZ looks heavily inspired by the Mitsubishi Outlander and a mish mash of plenty of other cars.

A new 2.2 Liter diesel engine engine with more power and torque mated to a manual six speeder also is in the offing along with the adaptive 4WD that will make it to the 2011 Chevrolet Captiva, a-la-Honda CR-V. The biggest thing that has it going for the Captiva LTZ is the fat that it will be brought in to India as a CKD instead of the CBU route like it currently is being brought it from South Korea.
