2011 Lamborghini Jota Teased: Murcielago Replacement To loose Scissor Doors

Lamborghini has started striptease act with its latest supercar – Jota. Shown in the photo is a part of the bonnet with the company’s raging bull logo on it. This teaser image has been release ahead of its launch in July among VIP invitees. The car will then be shown off at the Paris Motor show later this year.

Not much information is known about the car, only that it will sport a new direct-injection V12 engine with at least 515kW (690 bhp/700 PS). Styling is set to remain typical Lamborghini, with sharp exotic lines similar to the Reventon, learnt from numerous spy pics of the cars shot during testing at various locations.

The new car is expected to be priced similar to the LP 640 iteration of the Murcielago, so be prepared to shell out a few crores when this comes to India (not anytime soon though).
