Maruti dealers across India are accepting bookings for the new Swift, which they say will be launched by the end of July. Currently, the buzz at Maruti dealerships is that, a customer books a Swift and his booking automatically gets converted to the new 2011 Swift as Maruti, according to Maruti dealers, will launch the car in July.

If that indeed happens, it’s a terrific thing for many folks who’ve been constantly barraging us with questions as to when exactly the 2011 Maruti Swift will launch. Quite surprisingly, Maruti, apart from a statement long ago, saying that the new 2011 Swift will be launched in 2011 has not come out with any information as to when exactly the 2011 Maruti Swift will be launched in India.

Now, the theory of the 2011 Swift being launched in July gains more credence as AutoCarIndia Editor, Hormazd Sorabjee has answered a question about the 2011 Swift, saying that the ca will be launched in late July. So, since both, Maruti dealers and a highly respected editor of a auto magazine are saying that the Swift will see a July launch, the 2011 Swift could indeed be launched in under two months!
