Here’s how the 2011 Honda Civic might look. While we think that the Honda Civic does look pretty plain jane, especially when compared to the Civic that sells right now in India, this safe styling could be a Honda ploy to lure the Toyota Corolla crowd to it’s fold.

The 2011 Civic will debut later this year and we’ll be watching the blogosphere very closely for any buzz on it.

That said, the engines the 2011 Honda Civic will feature might be unchanged from the 1.8 Liter, 140 Bhp ultra sweet, rev happy petrol while a hybrid powerplant from the Honda CR-Z might be in the offing for the greenies. The 2011 Honda Civic will be one of the last Honda Civics to be based on the current platform after which the Honda Civic Platform is expected to see a major design overhaul.

This is yet another reason as to why we think that Honda could go for the plain jane styling to appeal to middle aged buyers, who currently might be put off by the sleek stealth looks before suddenly pulling off a fast one in terms of a radical new Honda Civic. Stick around!
