Interiors of the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Crossover Fluidic hit the interweb ahead of the SUV’s 2012 New York Auto Show debut

Many months ago, images of the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Fluidic crossover SUV hit the interweb, giving us a glimpse on what to expect from Hyundai’s flagship crossover. While the styling, like most Fluidic design cars, looked nice and cool back then, the last couple of weeks has produced some more information about the 2013 Santa Fe including what to expect in terms of the features offered and even information about the brand new 2.2 Liter Gamma R-Diesel engine that produces some prodigious power and torque. Now, we have the images of the 2013 Santa Fe’s interiors out in the open.

The folks at the KoreanCarBlog, who’ve put out so much information about the 2013 Santa Fe Fluidic crossover over the past few weeks are it at again. From what we can see, the interiors of the 2013 Santa Fe is a dramatic step upwards from the current non-Fluidic model. The dashboard is an all new affair and so is the instrumentation console with the blue backlight. Also, the materials used on the 2013 Santa Fe’s interiors look top notch and understandably so considering that this is the flagship crossover in Hyundai’s line up.

Also, the interiors of the 2013 Santa Fe makes a departure even from the traditional Fluidic design philosophy with flowing yet radical lines. Hyundai has been talking about the Storm Edge design philosophy, which according to the South Korean car maker is the latest iteration of the Fluidic design philosophy. So, in that sense, the 2013 Santa Fe Crossover’s interiors seem to be the first Hyundai car to feature the Storm Edge design philosophy. Expect the interiors to be loaded with bells and whistles, as it has almost become typical of Hyundai. Over the next couple of weeks, all the details of the 2013 Santa Fe Fluidic will be out as this crossover will make its debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.

    Interiors look good but i am disappointed to see the small screen. Now a days most of the cars are coming with large touch screen and the price bracket it is in, it is a must
