Will General Motors India pull off a stunner with the Chevrolet Aveo replacement is what that struck me first when I looked at the spy shots our friends at AutoBlog are carrying. The car is most probably not a Sonic as the Sonic has no reason to go camo now that the entire world knows how it looks.

GM India has also been saying that the Sonic Sedan and the Sonic Hatchback might not come to India to replace the now ancient Chevrolet Aveo Sedan and the U-VA Hatchback. So, the other possibility is the Chevrolet Sail Sedan and Hatchback, which GM now sells in China.

The spy shots however don’t look like the Sail Sedan being tested as the Sail has a front quarter glass which seems to be missing on the spied cars. Now that leaves us with one more option, the Chevrolet Beat Sedan. The spy shots seem to indicate a new car that is different from both the Sonic as well as the Sail.
