BMW to premier its new 2011 Concept 6-Series coupe at 2010 Paris motor show

With the Paris motor show just around the corner, auto manufacturers all around the world are gearing up for the mega event. BMW is all set to premier an all new Concept 6-Series coupe. The overall design of the car is reminiscent of the Concept Gran coupe that was showcase at this years Beijing motor show in April.

The new car shares most of its components with the new 5-Series. The whole body has been redesigned. Gone is the bulbous front as is the boot-lid which looked as if it was stuck on just after the designer had finished. The new car will go no sale in the UK in coupe form next April.

The car was designed under the watchful eye of Adrian van Hooydonk. “With this car, I feel like I have come full circle,” he said. “I was lucky enough to influence today’s 6-series. And I’ve also been heavily involved in defining the new look of the coupé concept.” he said.
