Button’s other car is a fire breathing station wagon!

The reigning Formula One World Champion has given soccer dads around the world reasons to worry. We are referring to Jenson Button who has received the keys to a brand new limited edition Mercedes C-Class DR 520 Estate and it’s no ordinary station wagon.

Finished in matt black (which we love), the new addition to Jenson’s garage has a 6.3 litre V8 under its hood. The eight cylinders wield the lash on 513 horses and tear the tarmac apart with 650 Nm torque. Comparing the numbers with the standard C63 AMG will be another eye opener. Jenson’s station wagon beats the C63 AMG with an additional 59 horses and an increase in torque by 50 Nm.

Now the question of who gets to impress his son at the traffic lights. Alright, we know that Button isn’t married and keeps postponing marriage because of the spells cast by the hotties surrounding him. So let’s make it fictitious. If he was married and had a son, Jenson Button Jr. would be waving and mocking at the bully from the school whose dad couldn’t catch up with DR 520 in the 0-100kph dash. The rocket ship does it in 4.2 seconds and the limited top speed of 301 kph is another concern for the bully altogether.

By the way, there is the usual line of fancy trims which decks up the car – titanium accents, leather / Alcantara sport seats, and an AMG braking system which is a necessity for this cruise missile.

Only twenty DR 520 Estates will be built and at £63,680, they don’t come cheap. But you can always brag that Jenson Button owns one of these.
