Come August, you could walk into a Tata Dealer and walk out with a Tata Nano

Tata Nano

Last week, we said that this would happen much before anyone else on the blogosphere and here it is, happening for real. The word is out directly from the horse’s mouth and come August, you could head to your nearest Tata dealer and drive home in a Tata Nano. So simple, so easy.

Here’s the official word from Manoj Arora, a Senior Manager from Tata motors.

From this August or September, customers will be able to walk into our showroom and drive out in a Nano.

This latest development is sure to bring in people to the Tata Nano’s, who’d otherwise have settled for other cars due to the long waiting period and the tortuous booking procedure for the Tata Nano. We like it, and so will plenty of prospective Tata Nano buyers.

i want to buy tata nano but waiting time is long and so should i pay any premium for getting a car against cancellation if some body cancells the booking and if yes then how much

whether tata nano can be converted in to LPG/CNG car

Rashmi,

It can be done by an aftermarket LPG kit. We suggest against it as you will lose manufacturer warranty if you go ahead and do so within the warranty period.

How about waiting till August, when the Nano will be available off the shelf?

If that’s too long a wait for you, get in touch with the nearest Tata dealer. You dealer will put you onto people who intend cancel their bookings and who will be happy to transfer their booking rights to others for nominal sums of about INR 10,000.
