Detroit Diary: The 2012 Toyota Prius Hybrid gets leaner, meaner and fitter!
2012 Toyota Prius C Hybrid
After being besieged by carloads of flak for the unintended acceleration issues in 2010, Toyota is ringing in the new year at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show with plenty of upgrades to the Prius. Two new Prius models will now see the light of the day, the first of which will be a Station Wagon variant of the Toyota Prius called the Prius V.
It will be followed by the most economical and sharpest looking Prius ever, the Prius C Sub Compact, which while being similarly sized to that of the Yaris Hatchback, aims to deliver an astounding combined cycle fuel efficiency of 21.25 KMPL. That figure will make the Prius C the most fuel efficient Prius ever and in 2012, Toyota will also launch the Prius Plug-In Hybrid for the US market.
Now, Toyota sells the Prius Hybrid in India too. With all this action happening with the Prius, will Toyota India at least bring the Prius Plug-In Hybrid to India come 2012? Fat chance, we say!

The 2010 Toyota Prius is a model of success when it comes to hybrid vehicles. They are generations ahead of the nearest competitor and will continue to dominate their class. The car is also very stylish ( http://www.2010-Toyota-Prius.com for reference ) and is coming down in price.
