Facelifted Honda Jazz launch just around the corner; Lower prices likely!
Honda Jazz Facelift
The Honda Jazz Hatchback, which went on a fire sale a couple of weeks ago with massive discounts of up to INR 1.75 Lakhs being offered at the Honda dealers’ end, will be relaunched very soon with a minor facelift. That makes the Honda Jazz Hatchback the latest in the long list of cars that will see a launch in August, this year. The facelifted Jazz is expected to get a few exterior and interior changes to make it fresher looking as a part of a mid career model makeover by Honda.
The current Honda Jazz’s production has been discontinued by Honda and the new model is all set to rep Along with the facelift, Honda is also expected to announce new prices for the Honda Jazz, which will be significantly lower than the “official” prices that Honda SIEL continues to display on its website. A leading Honda dealer, who has informed us of the facelifted Jazz expects the new Jazz to be priced at slightly above the discounted prices of the current Jazz.

The new prices could most probably be on account of the higher levels of localization that Honda has managed to achieve by working closely with Indian vendors. Also, the price revision is quite necessary to clearly differentiate the Jazz’s positioning, price wise, with respect to the All New Honda City. Bookings for the new Jazz have already began with select Honda dealers unofficially, through a token advance of INR 25,000.
Some prospective Honda Jazz owners, who have miss the bus to snap up the hot selling discounted Jazz, are also being encouraged by a few Honda dealers to hold on to their bookings so that they can buy the facelifted Jazz on priority, without having to go through another waiting period. The official bookings for the facelifted Honda Jazz is expected to be announced soon after the launch in August and the facelifted version is expected to come with the same 90 Bhp, 1.2 Liter i-VTEC engine.

I hear a lot of speculation about the probable launch and changes in the face lifted new varients. I am yet to come across a confirmed date for launch and price of the new varient. :yawn:
