Ladies and gentlemen, it is official. Yesterday, before anyone else, we brough you buzz about the Fiat Grande Punto coming with the 1.3 VGT Diesel engine that it’s elder sibling, the Fiat Linea comes with. Now, check out the first pics of the Fiat Grande Punto Diesel Sports. The interiors of the Grande Punto has been upgraded with a classy looking red and black theme.

This certainly will endow the Grande Punto with a segment of buyers who earlier stayed away from it due to it’s not-so-classy interiors and slightly lazy performance. The new Fiat Grande Punto will retail for almost a Lakh more than the existing top of the line Punto MJD Emotion model. This, in our opinion will be a major deterrent as the Fiat Grande Punto Sports MJD will now cost close to a whopping INR 8 Lakh on-road which makes it an expensive proposition, especially as it will have both the premium Skoda Fabia and now the Volkswagen Polo to contend with, at that price point.
